here's the house specialties!

  • haunted mansion
  • adventureland
  • orangebird
  • mgm studios
  • country bears

i do have individual shrines for some of these, but this is meant to be more like a blog ramble spot for me to put whatever instead of like, a china cabinet like my shrines are.

in fact, here's some musical souvineers for you (in the form of 8tracks playlists i made in high school). grizzly hall's original setlist (bears not included) and albert AWOL's broadcast on the DBC to all points unknown.

a friendly word of warning; something you won’t find in any guidebook. the next time you check into a deserted hotel on the dark side of hollywood, make sure you know just what kind of vacancy you’re filling.

here's some great sites you should check out:

i would really like to find more on dinoland, since that seems it might be going the way of the dodo (to put it lightly) soon.

feel free to send me any website reccomendations! i love finding new sites to read through.

i recently got back from DLR (that's the disneyland resort, for anyone unfamiliar). i went for 4 days, may 20th to 23rd, mostly for season of the force. it makes me wish that WDW's SW:GE had the same... everything. here's a list of differences that i wish were the same over here at my beloved batuu east:

  • it appears they have more leeway with the types of accessories they're allowed to wear, down to small bags.
  • there were always villagers around the outpost doing something. it seems like they can pull tasks to 'play' around the outpost
  • the site of the explorers' shop door is not a photopass spot, you can learn to play sabacc there!!
  • roaming droids, like r2, having free reign around the outpost
  • the bdx droids...
  • they have more characters, and don't have to rely as much on rey/chewie/vi
  • seriously. i want ahsoka, sabine, and boba at east expeditiously
  • their smuggler's run has purple, gold and pink as options on their HAN system
  • their rise of the resistance is in a more landscaped spot, making it seem like it IS actually further from the outpost like it is in the novels.

hopefully, DHS is up next to recieve a refresh.
MK and EPCOT have both recieved some quality things in recent years, and DAK is chugging a long just fine (despite the fact that people are adamant it's only a half day park. it is if you're only there for rides, but it has so much to offer in terms of things to see. people are, quite frankly, boring).
DHS has the least amount of things to do, especially for smaller children after all the stage shows close for the day. only two of the nine rides in the park don't have height requirements (and therefore allow lap-sitting and have no restraints), and one of which experiences frequent downtimes, not to mention both are subject to long waits.

the park really NEEDS more rides, especially things along the lines of classic fantasyland dark rides or an omnimover; things with small or no height requirement that probably won't require a restraint. another thrill ride would be a welcome addition, but the park needs something with a high guest-per-hour count that can help devour crowds when ROTR, MMRR, and slinky dog inevitably experience a downtime. another coaster wouldn't hurt either.
most of my ride expansion ideas pertain to SW:GE, which can, unfortunately, only fit one more attraction unless they wanted to move some things around (like moving the Grand Ave. entrance up, ROTR taking muppetvision's extended queue and redirecting its' entrance). a podrace duelling coaster, a speederbike chase coaster or a boatride through batuu's alien scenery would do well. perhaps a peoplemover-esque attraction would have been good as well, but it's too late in the game to install something like that.

this page is going to be under construction for a while

i (currently as of 3/15/2024) work in hollywood studios.

the fun thing about working in galaxy's edge is being able to live in the story. you have your own backstory and hometown and opinions on current goings-on. of course, you can't get too crazy with it (no, unfortunately you can't be kylo ren's boyfriend he's keeping secret) but you can get real interesting.

fun fact, did you know that every day in galaxy's edge is the same day? it's a groundhog's day timeloop sorta situation. the resistance has always been camped out in the ruins for about a month, the first order just got here two weeks ago, hondo is always hiring travellers to go on missions, ect. it's neat.
